Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking a Kitchen Utility Supervisor to coordinate and schedule the Kitchen Utility staff, supporting chefs and cooks in maintaining a clean, orderly kitchen while ensuring sanitation standards are met. The role includes supervising personnel, scheduling shifts, and enforcing health regulations.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years’ related experience, a Food Handler’s Certificate, and strong communication skills to operate in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Food Handler’s Certificate required.
• 3–5 years of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee personnel, coordinate duties and schedule employees in dishwashing and utility departments; include performance appraisal and discipline.
• Train dishwashing machine operator and utility workers to casino standards.
• Conduct cleanliness inspections of Food and Beverage areas; ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation, and take corrective measures.
