Job summary

TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants is seeking a General Utility to maintain kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition, and to assist in food preparation as needed.

This role supports the kitchen team in upholding the TSFR Roadmap and Core Values, working mainly indoors with occasional outdoor duties; expects physical stamina to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents; write routine reports and correspondence.
• Mathematical ability to solve practical problems and follow instructions.
• Physical demands to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Scrape and pre-rinse food from dirty dishes and load dishwashing machine.
• Wash pots, pans and trays by hand and/or machine.
• Complete all assigned prep work.
• Remove trash and garbage to dumpster area.
• Washes work areas, equipment, and floors.
• Transport cases up to 50 pounds as needed.
