Job summary

TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants is seeking a General Utility to maintain dishwashing areas, assist in food preparation, and uphold a clean, sanitary work environment. The role supports our kitchen team and aligns with our core values and roadmaps.

Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing dishes, handling trash, and assisting with prep tasks while working in indoor and outdoor settings. A flexible, team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to work in hot, damp environments.
• Able to work as part of a team and stay flexible during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and pre-rinses food from dirty dishes and loads them into the dishwashing machine (50%).
• Washes pots, pans and trays by hand and/or machine (15%).
• Completes all assigned prep work (10%).
• Removes trash and garbage to dumpster area (10%).
• Washes work areas, tables, walls and equipment (5%).
• Cleans garbage cans and receptacles (5%).
• Assembles and maintains dish machine equipment (5%).
• Transports cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day (physical).
• Works indoors (90%) and outdoors (10%) and in hot/damp conditions.
• Responds to emergencies to avoid danger to self and others.
