Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking a General Utility to maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, plateware and utensils in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition. The role assists in food preparation procedures and fosters a culture aligned with the TSFR Roadmap, including Our Core Values.

Primary duties include dish scraping, pot washing, prep work, trash removal and maintaining a safe, functional work space.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and pre-rinses dirty dishes and loads the dish machine (50%).
• Washes pots, pans and trays by hand or machine (15%).
• Completes all assigned prep work (10%).
• Removes trash to dumpster area (10%).
• Cleans tables, walls, equipment and floors.
• Assembles, maintains and breaks down the dish machine.
• Lifts cases up to 40 pounds several times daily.
• Works indoors most of the time with occasional outdoor work.
• Responds to emergencies to prevent danger.
