Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Ohio is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly, high-quality service while keeping the deli area clean and stocked. You will interact with customers and support the deli, coffee, and fountain bars throughout your shift.

No experience is required—we provide on-the-job training, and the role offers flexible scheduling, paid time off, health insurance options after 30 days, and a competitive hourly wage of $15 to $20, with 401(k) matching for eligible employees.

• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds; able to work in varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
