Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring for a Kitchen Team Member to greet customers, keep the deli area clean and stocked, and support the cashier team during shifts.

No experience is required—we will train you and provide a friendly, fast-paced work environment with opportunities to grow within a nationwide company.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and assisting store cashier team members with deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
• Accurately prepare deli products per designated preparation guides (salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches, wraps, parfaits).
• Follow company policies to maintain proper food safety conditions.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross‑training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
