Job summary

Dash In is hiring a Kitchen Team Member in Midlothian, VA. The role pays $16.50–$18.00 per hour, with an additional $1 overnight premium. Positions available as full-time or part-time hourly, in a 24/7 retail kitchen environment within a chef-inspired concept.

You will handle food safety, prep, stocking and guest interaction while operating kitchen equipment. Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights and weekends is required. GED/HS diploma or equivalent program is supported by the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or company-paid program.
• 1 year of food service experience (line or prep) preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18+.
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety, sanitation and quality standards.
• Monitor prep levels and ensure readiness to serve.
• Restock and organize prep station for efficiency.
• Receive deliveries and store properly.
• Maintain clean and well-kept kitchen.
• Engage with guests and deliver friendly service.
• Operate equipment from fryers to slicers.
• Lift and move heavy containers safely (up to 65 lb).

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED (or the ability to complete our company-paid GED program)
• 1 year offood service experience, line cook or prep cook experience preferred
• Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have:

• ActiveServSafecertification, or a similar qualification
• Tech-savviness, including familiarity with POS software
• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills
