Job summary

Dash In, part of the Wills Group family, is seeking a Kitchen Team Member for the Dash In location in Prince Frederick, MD. The role is Full-time or Part-time hourly with pay between $16.50 and $18.00 per hour, plus a $1 overnight premium.

The Kitchen Associate will prepare meals, maintain safety and cleanliness, stock and organize stations, and engage with guests to provide personal service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or ability to complete company-paid GED program.
• 1 year of food service experience; line cook or prep cook preferred.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends.
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18+ years.
• Background check and drug screening completed.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards to prepare meals.
• Monitor prep levels to ensure freshness and readiness for service.
• Keep prep stations organized and restocked; maintain cleanliness.
• Assist in receiving and storing goods; prepare for cooking.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (deep fryers, slicers, etc.).
• Interact with guests to deliver a positive experience.
• Demonstrate proper lifting techniques for heavy containers (50–65 lbs).

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED (or the ability to complete our company-paid GED program)
• 1 year offood service experience, line cook or prep cook experience preferred
• Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have:

• ActiveServSafecertification, or a similar qualification
• Tech-savviness, including familiarity with POS software
• Excellent multitasking and problem‑solving skills
