Responsibilities

• Lead shifts in a high-volume restaurant.

• Assist with training new Team Members.
• Monitor deployment of Team Members based on needs.
• Maintain speed of service, hospitality, cleanliness, and food quality.
• Address needs promptly and respectfully; assist opening/closing.
• Complete cash handling and shift procedures; communicate updates.

Kitchen Team Lead

At Chick-fil-A, being a Shift Lead is an opportunity to lead by example, serve others, and help create an exceptional experience for both guests and Team Members. Shift Leads support restaurant leadership by leading shifts, maintaining operational standards, and helping Team Members succeed.

We are seeking a dependable, positive, and people-focused individual who demonstrates strong character, takes initiative, and leads with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
• Participate operationally in day-to-day restaurant activities
• Create an exceptional guest experience through friendly, accurate, and efficient service
• Set the tone for the shift and lead Team Members by example
• Coach and encourage Team Members to meet Chick-fil-A standards and expectations
• Assist with training new Team Members
• Monitor and adjust Team Member deployment based on business needs
• Help maintain standards for Speed of Service, hospitality, cleanliness, and food quality
• Address Team Member and guest needs promptly and respectfully
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and serve as a key holder when assigned
• Complete cash handling, drawer counts, and required shift procedures
• Communicate shift updates, opportunities, and concerns to the leadership team

Qualifications

• Previous Chick-fil-A, restaurant, customer service, or leadership experience preferred

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform physical tasks associated with restaurant operations, including standing for extended periods and lifting, reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, grasping, and arm-hand coordination as required by the position.
