Job summary

Chick-fil-A Rochester is seeking a Kitchen Shift Leader to own the evening kitchen operations and lead a team of 8–12 teammates.

You will coach staff, uphold food quality and safety, keep the kitchen running smoothly during the busy period, and work a consistent 3:00 PM–11:30 PM schedule with opportunities to grow leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Has restaurant or food-service experience; leadership experience a plus.
• Can stay calm and make good decisions when busy.
• Communicates clearly and motivates others.

• Dependable, organized, and willing to take responsibility.
• Willing to coach teammates and lead by example.
• Must be able to work the 3:00–11:30 PM schedule and meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 8–12 kitchen team members throughout the shift.
• Own kitchen execution from prep to evening rush and closing.
• Keep the team organized and moving efficiently during busy periods.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, safety, cleanliness, and order accuracy.
• Coach team members, provide direction, and help new employees succeed.
• Monitor food preparation, product availability, and kitchen workflow for smooth service.
• Communicate with other shift leaders and management to address challenges and guest experience.
• Ensure closing procedures and cleaning responsibilities are completed properly.
• Lead by example and jump in when needed.

What You'll Do
