The Habit is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to guide kitchen operations, train cooks, and ensure high-quality food and safety standards. You will oversee multiple stations, coordinate with the management team, and help meet sales goals while maintaining cost controls.

Ideal candidates will have leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to training and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of related food service experience preferred.
• Food Manager Certificate and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules based on restaurant needs.

Responsibilities

• Set the standard and lead by example in all kitchen functions.
• Provide direction and coaching to BOH Team Members.
• Perform all stations in the kitchen, including preparation and cooking.
• Ensure standard operating procedures are followed for consistent quality.
• Assist in opening and closing; manage weekly planning.
• Train and develop BOH staff; control food and labor costs.
• Participate in weekly management meetings to discuss goals.
