The Habit is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to oversee back-of-house operations and ensure high-quality, safe food preparation across all stations. You will train cooks, manage labor costs, and supervise opening and closing procedures to deliver the Habit difference each shift.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in food service, holds a Food Manager and ServSafe certification, and can communicate effectively in English with a strong leadership mindset.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in related food service position preferred.
• Food Manager Certificate and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs.

Responsibilities

• Set the standard and lead by example in all kitchen functions.
• Provide direction and coaching to BOH Team Members.
• Perform all kitchen stations, including prep and cooking of items.
• Ensure SOPs are followed for consistent quality across shifts.
• Maintain weekly pars to ensure quality and availability of food.
• Train and develop BOH staff and supervise opening/closing tasks.
