Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a team member to support deli and prepared foods operations in our Harrisburg area store. You will make sandwiches, pizza, and other hot foods, portion deli items, and merchandise products according to plan‑o‑gram (POG) with strict adherence to SOPs and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, maintaining cleanliness, rotating stock, and helping train teammates.

• Must be able to communicate and understand Company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.

• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule and prepare for duties at the start of the shift.
• Assist with production planning and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Produce product for the sales floor and display cases per plan.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, and display areas.
• Maintain food safety compliance logs daily.
• Track and record loss using known loss tracking (KLT).
• Train team members and supervise others as needed.
• Prepare deli products (sandwiches, subs, wraps) and display per SOP.
• Cook and prepare pizza and other hot foods; package for customers.
• Assist customers in selecting deli items and portion products.
• Prepare grab-and-go products and smoked items as per SOP.
• Maintain cleanliness of roaster, fryers, and other equipment.
• Perform record-keeping tasks as assigned.
