Job summary

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a food handler certificate.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and recipes.
• Strong basic math and analytical skills relevant to food service.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwasher.
• Operate the dishwasher and maintain clean dishwashing cycles.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks for residents.
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize kitchen and related areas.
• Assist with orientation and training of dietary staff.
