Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Tejon is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to lead and maintain smooth operation of all kitchen shifts. You will partner with the cafe management team to train, coach and evaluate BOH operations, ensuring adherence to company policies, specs and procedures.

Responsibilities include opening and closing duties, managing shift labor, monitoring food cost, inspecting equipment, training staff, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen teams.
• Ability to train and coach staff to standards.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening & closing duties for the kitchen.
• Oversee shift-by-shift labor for cost-effective operation.
• Monitor food cost and maintain quality and specs.
• Inspect equipment and ensure routine maintenance.
• Ensure cleaning duties are completed and safety procedures followed.
• Train and validate new staff on standards and procedures.
• Conduct line checks and ensure timely food preparation.
• Communicate with management on procedures and improvements.
