Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Tejon is seeking a seasoned Front-of-House Manager to hire, motivate and supervise staff, ensuring guest service standards and effective guidance. You will train team members and maintain department budgets and staffing plans to support smooth operations.

You will monitor guest satisfaction, analyze performance, control inventory, and partner with culinary, marketing and events teams to handle group functions and special events. Excellence in communication and Excel is required.

Qualifications

• This knowledge and these abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high school degree or equivalent and 6 years’ restaurant service experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity; or the completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Restaurant/Beverage Management, Business Administration or equivalent and 3 years’ restaurant service with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.

Responsibilities

• Hire, motivate, evaluate and supervise front-of-house staff to achieve objectives.
• Provide training for outlet personnel to ensure guest service standards.
• Establish department standards, guidelines and budgets for efficient operation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, volume, cost, promotions and competitors’ programs.
• Analyze food cost with the Director - F&B and forecast menu pricing changes.
• Monitor performance of Food & Beverage service and coordinate improvements.
• Order and maintain inventory of restaurant supplies.
• Conduct inspections to ensure procedures, assets safety and compliance.
• Investigate and resolve guest complaints to maintain relations.
• Coordinate with culinary, marketing and events teams for group functions.
