Job summary

The Bower Coronado in Coronado, CA is seeking an experienced cook to join its kitchen team. Responsibilities

• Read menu to estimate food requirements and assist with ordering.
• Assist with food preparation for events and banquets.
• Assist in training new culinary staff members.
• Coordinate and expedite kitchen staff to ensure consistency in quality and presentation.
• Prepare items following recipes and standards in a timely manner.
• Operate large-volume equipment (grills, fryers, griddles).
• Set up station with mise en place and maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in work areas.
