The role requires a High School diploma or GED, and evening/weekend availability. This is a part-time position with duties spanning daily scheduling, attendance, inspections, and guest issue resolution in a dynamic amusement park setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Supervisory or lead experience in a kitchen or food-service setting is preferred.
• Evenings, weekends and some holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist managers in overseeing daily kitchen operations at the facility.
• Ensure pre-shift standup meetings are completed and attendance is tracked.
• Document attendance issues and follow policy.
• Ensure inspections are completed and issues are tagged, reported and followed up.
• Maintain a clean facility by delegating cleaning duties to the team.
• Approve times and ensure clock punches are accurate.
• Prepare daily schedules to ensure proper coverage.
• Assess team and reallocate as needed; identify training needs.
• Handle guest complaints and incident reports within 24 hours.
• Retrain staff after injuries and escalate medical needs as required.
• Work alongside crew and fill in for breaks when needed.
• Perform other duties as required and schedule crew for the location.
• Support the GM in achieving turnaround times and assist with ride audits and training.

Job Summary

The Kitchen Supervisor position assists the Operations Managers and General Manager with real-time operations that facilitate the maximization of resources (human and automated) to achieve customer satisfaction, productivity, schedule adherence and economic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist managers in overseeing the daily operations of all crew at the facility.
• Ensure pre-shift standup meetings are completed.
• Document attendance issues in accordance with attendance policy.
• Ensure inspections are completed; problems must be tagged, reported, and followed up.
• Verify that the park is clean by delegating cleaning duties to team members.
• Approve times and ensure that management staff approve clock‑in/out punches each shift.
• Complete the daily schedule template the previous day to ensure all positions are covered.
• Assess team and move crew as needed.
• Assess team for training and re‑training needs.
• Field guest complaints.
• Assist Operations Managers in completing guest and team‑member incident reports as needed, ensuring reports are submitted within 24 hours.
• Ensure injured team members are retrained if that was the cause of the injury.
• Call the Safety Manager immediately if a team member needs medical attention.
• Work alongside crew as needed; fill in for breaks as required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
• Schedule crew members for the designated location.

Ongoing Responsibilities

• Support the GM’s goal of ensuring team meets or exceeds turnaround times.
• Assist with ride audits and retrain or coach as needed.
• Update standup meeting information and communicate changes to other Operations Managers.
• Ensure the facility is well maintained and notify the GM if something needs to be fixed.
• Assist with weekly inventory counts.
• Maintain food quality and presentation.
• Ensure all kitchen staff stay current on training and certifications.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position assists Operations Managers and the General Manager in managing all employees of the department and is responsible for leadership, performance management and retention of crew members within its department.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, bend, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. May lift up to 50 lbs.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a part‑time position. Hours and days are determined by the General Manager. Evenings, weekends, and some holidays are required as job duties demand.
