Job summary

Five Star Parks & Attractions in Dayton, Ohio, is seeking a Facilities Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in a large venue. This part-time role requires availability for nights and weekends and involves walking, bending, and lifting in a 100,000+ sq ft facility.

You will handle routine cleaning, restocking, and basic maintenance tasks, while assisting guests and collaborating with the General Manager to keep the facility running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Night and/or weekend availability required.
• Physical activity including walking, bending, and lifting in a 100,000+ sq ft building.
• Experience in facilities or cleaning roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean facility, restrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep/mop spills and wipe surfaces as needed.
• Restock supplies and ensure utensils are returned to bar/restaurant.
• Respond to maintenance calls and assist with general repairs.
• Ensure guests feel welcome and safe in the facility.
• Assist with inventory and organization of cleaning products.

Facilities Technician

Location: Scene 75 Dayton, Ohio

Position Type: Part Time

Job Summary

As a member of our facilities technician team, you would be responsible for upholding our clean and friendly environment that our facility prides itself on. This position requires late nights/early mornings.

Key Responsibilities

• Arcade Floor
• Maintain cleanly image
• Ensure all cups and eating utensils are returned to bar/restaurant
• Sweep/mop spills
• Wipe tables and stools as necessary
• Respond to any necessary calls
• Restrooms
• Refill paper products
• Dispose of trash
• General cleaning of all areas
• Ensure trash throughout site makes it to a receptacle
• Dispose of filled bags to dumpster
• Maintenance Closets
• Maintain an organized system
• Maintain running inventory of cleaning products on hand
• Order cleaning supplies with General Manager
• Ensure all windows and mirrors are free of smudges and marks
• Ensure all guests feel welcome
• Answer any basic questions that may arise or call for assistance
• Any additional responsibilities that may be given by management

Requirements
