Location: The Inverness Denver, a Hilton Golf & Spa Resort
Compensation: $25.00 per Hour
Schedule: Full Time - 4 to 5 days' work schedule - Open Availability
Requirements
- 2-4 years’ experience in Supervisor role in a mid-high volume production kitchen, strongly required.
- This is a full-time position that requires weekday and weekend availability, required.
-Previous hotel culinary experience.
What will I be doing?
As a Cook Supervisor, you would be responsible for overseeing and participating in the preparation of food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
-Oversee and prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
-Oversee and maintain safety standards, cleanliness and food sanitation, store food products in compliance with safety practices
- Provide restaurant guests excellent food quality, consistency, reasonable prices, in an attractive environment, and with professional service
-Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
-Stock and maintain par levels for designated food station(s)
-Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
-Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
- Lead culinary functions to meet food quality goals, meet financial goals, facilities maintenance, and personnel development objectives
- Lead kitchen staff and coordinate food orders, supervise food prep and cooking by checking food plating, temperature, and portion sizes
-Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, training, scheduling, and assigning work, delivering recognition, encourage and support team members to further their growth and development
-Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed
