A leading property management company is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor for its culinary operations in Fort Myers. The role involves overseeing food preparation, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with sanitation standards. This full-time position offers the chance to work in a dynamic kitchen environment alongside a dedicated team under the guidance of experienced chefs.
Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to Paseo’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
Responsible for ordering food products according to product specification, received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries be received in accordance with the Paseo’s receiving policies and procedures.
Controlling cost of food and portions by following proper guidelines of menu’s created by Executive and Sous Chef.
Product storage procedures, standard recipes and waste control procedures including checking and maintaining proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points.
Fill in where needed to ensure KWPMC service standards maintain efficient operations at all times.
Work with Executive Chef and Sous Chef to plan and price menu items, establish portion sizes and prepare standard recipe cards for all new menu items.
Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kep in excellent working condition and if needs attention bringing to attention of the Maintenance department at Paseo.
Ensure that all sanitation and uniform standards of Paseo be implemented into action in all departments and food-handling practices be carried throughout the work shift.
Kitchen supervisor has the support of KWPMC team at all times in making disciplining kitchen personnel decisions as appropriate.
Kitchen Supervisor will obtain all systems of KWPMC, to create growth for his or her position with Paseo and KWPMC.
Oversee but not limited to daily specials are put into place in an organized and timely manner.
Kitchen Supervisor is to participate monthly in food inventory counts with the Sous Chef to obtain optimal knowledge of product on hand.
The work environment will change frequently. Will work in-doors and out-doors. The environment will be busy and loud with high heat and cold temperatures.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 30 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures. Working with flame, in heat, high humidity, cool temps, outside, inside, under umbrellas, at portable grills, kitchens and at event areas throughout the Master.

This is a full-time exempt position. The work schedule will likely change throughout the year to accommodate the business needs of the property.
