Job summary

StoryPoint is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our kitchen operations in a senior living environment. You will wash and unload dishes, pots, pans, silverware, china, utensils, and equipment, adhering to health and safety standards. You will also assist with stocking supplies and keeping the kitchen clean.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be friendly and able to work in a team.
• Good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Use proper procedures for cleaning and storing items according to health/safety codes.
• Stock soap, towels, and paper products in the kitchen.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties per policy.
• May scrub and mop floors and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• Maintain a positive attitude and support the culinary team.
• Promote positive relations with residents, families and guests.
