Job summary

StoryPoint in Carmel, IN is seeking a Dishwasher to support daily kitchen operations in our senior living community. You will wash and unload dishes, pots, pans, silverware, and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.

Prior restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required. You should be friendly, have a positive attitude, and strong teamwork and communication skills to support the culinary team and residents.

Responsibilities

• Use proper procedures for cleaning and storing items - comply with all applicable state and local health/safety codes.
• Stock soap, towels, and paper products throughout the kitchen.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• May be required to scrub and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• Consistently maintain a positive attitude, supporting a team environment with other Dishwashers and the culinary team.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests.
