Job summary

Mesquite Entertainment is seeking a Steward to ensure kitchen and dining room equipment is cleaned, stocked, organized and available for service. You will help manage staffing and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and the capability to lead and motivate others. English communication skills are essential for teamwork and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate verbally in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate staffing of kitchen workers and stewards.
• Clean, organize, and maintain all kitchen equipment, service areas, tableware, pots/pans, and storage areas so they are ready for use.
• Train, lead, develop, motivate, evaluate, coach, and discipline team members.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all food & beverage areas.
• Organize kitchen areas and staff to meet high quality service standards for internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
