Job summary

Te Deseo in Dallas, Texas is looking for a Steward to support kitchen operations by ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work areas. This role includes cleaning stoves, ovens, and utensils, as well as performing duties of Porter and Kitchen Worker.

The ideal candidate should be able to communicate in English, have the ability to lift heavy items, and work in a fast-paced environment. Previous kitchen stewarding experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidate is required to use Personal Protection Equipment when applicable.
• Requires a Food Handler Safety Training card.

Responsibilities

• Clean all cooking devices and maintain sanitation.
• Sort and clean dishes, silverware, glasses, etc.
• Assist in various tasks with Porter and Kitchen Worker positions.

Skills

Ability to communicate in English

Ability to multi-task

Experience in kitchen stewarding

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Education
