Job summary

Resorts World New York City seeks a Steward Shift Manager to supervise, train and assign tasks for a busy kitchen and banquet team. You will ensure cleanliness of all equipment, manage staffing on your shift and maintain supply levels while following all safety and sanitation standards.

Ideal candidates have supervisory or management experience in hospitality, are fluent in English, and can obtain any required gaming-related licenses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain the appropriate license.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field AND two (2) years’ experience in a Supervisory position OR Four (4) years’ experience in a Management position OR Two (2) years’ experience in a Supervisory position within Resorts World Six (6) years’ related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assign work and responsibilities to staff.
• Direct employees and schedule on shift.
• Train staff on proper sanitation and equipment handling.
• Ensure cleanliness of kitchen equipment, china, silverware and glassware.
• Oversee banquet setup and breakdown.
• Attend meetings and training sessions.
• Promote professional relations with guests and team members.
