Job summary

Masonicare at Bishop Wicke – Shelton, CT is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker for DAY/EVENING SHIFT. You will wash dishes, assist cooks, and help maintain sanitation and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.

Role requires some high school education and on-the-job training. Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, stocking storerooms, following safety procedures, and attending in-services as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Education: Some high school education.
• Experience: On-the-job training.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Able to follow verbal instructions and read written directions for chemicals used.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and clean equipment, floors and any other sanitation procedures.
• Set up dishmachine for meal service and wash dishes, sort silverware and clean glasses.
• Maintain cleanliness of pots and pans and organize storerooms and coolers.
• Remove garbage and recycle products.
• Assist manager and cooks on special cleaning projects as directed.
• Follow department dress code and wear hairnets as required.
• Receive deliveries and rotate stock; organize storeroom and coolers.
• Attend all scheduled in-services.
