Job summary

Valley View Casino & Hotel is seeking a Steward to ensure all china, glassware, and silverware are cleaned efficiently and kept ready for service. The role supports a clean, sanitary kitchen by washing, stacking, and stocking dining ware, pots, pans, and utensils.

You will work under supervision, follow established guidelines, and collaborate with food service and culinary teams to maintain high standards of guest satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support standards of excellence and guest satisfaction.
• Greet guests courteously and provide personalized service.
• Scrape, rack, stack, and wash dishware, glassware, silverware, and pots and pans.
• Clean and stock plates, silverware, pots, pans and utensils.
• Keep work area clean and sanitary; remove trash.
• Assist in health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Clean kitchen equipment, hoods, stoves, countertops, and display cases.
• Collaborate with food servers, utilities, cooks, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Steward Supervisor.
• Maintain professional and ethical conduct and regular attendance.
