Avion Hospitality is seeking a Steward to maintain cleanliness and proper storage of china, glass, and silver, ensuring sanitation standards are met. The role supports kitchen staff and help manage food storage and rotation.

The position requires handling dishwashing, floor cleaning, and waste management while upholding a friendly demeanor and teamwork under a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to convey information clearly.
• Ability to evaluate and select among options quickly and accurately.
• Works well in stressful, high pressure situations.
• Maintains composure and objectivity under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish-washing equipment to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation of china, glass, and silver.
• Replace clean items in proper storage locations with care to minimize breakage.
• Wash pots, pans and kitchen utensils and store them properly after cleaning.
• Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and restaurant areas.
• Empty garbage from Food and Beverage areas into the hotel dumpster.
• Maintain cleanliness of back dock and dumpster area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
