Job summary

PopStroke Holdings LLC is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to keep the kitchen running smoothly. You will be the behind-the-scenes star turning suds into smiles, helping chefs shine, and supporting daily kitchen operations.

Pay rate ranges from $16 to $18 per hour for non-exempt, on-site roles in a fast-paced environment. The role requires weekend availability and a strong focus on cleanliness and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher or kitchen steward experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Load, run, and unload the dishwasher with utensils, glassware, cookware, plates, and trays in a fast and efficient manner.
• Ensure all dishes are clean and sanitized before putting them away on dish racks.
• Maintain the dishwasher area to keep it clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Mop and sanitize the dish room, kitchen floors, and dining room hallways, remove trash at shift end.
• Sanitize work areas and adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Assist with deliveries and basic food preparation tasks.
• Safely operate a trash compactor and ensure cleanliness of the area.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to maintain efficient workflow and communicate effectively.
• Other duties as assigned.
