Job summary

PopStroke is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to keep the kitchen running smoothly, turning suds into smiles and supporting our chefs. This on-site role offers a pay rate of $16-$18 per hour and is non-exempt.

You will load, run, and unload the dishwasher, maintain cleanliness, assist with deliveries and basic prep tasks, and collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher or kitchen steward experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Load, run, and unload the dishwasher with utensils, glassware, cookware, plates, and trays in a fast and efficient manner.
• Ensure all dishes are clean and sanitized before putting them away on dish racks.
• Maintain the dishwasher area to keep it clean and organized and ensure wash cycle is sanitary and at peak performance.
• Mop and sanitize the dish room, kitchen floors, and dining room hallways; remove trash at end of shift for safety and sanitation.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to maintain efficient workflow and communicate effectively.
• Other duties as assigned.
