Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality is seeking a part-time Dishwasher/ Kitchen Helper at our San Juan, PR property. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas, washing and organizing serviceware, and assisting cooks and servers to ensure a smooth guest experience.

The role requires physical stamina, adherence to health standards, and ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment. Training and opportunities to learn other kitchen duties are provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hotel service ware and how to maintain it.
• Ability to operate a commercial kitchen dishwasher per hotel/Health Dept standards.
• Ability to read and apply cleaning labels and task lists.

Responsibilities

• Transport and clean kitchen utensils and serviceware for cooks, bus persons and servers to provide proper equipment for guest dining experiences.
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen, refrigerators/freezers and employee dining area per health standards.
• Ensure trash bags are transported to dumpster area with bags tied securely and boxes compacted.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to meet health requirements.
• Clean and dry floors to prevent slips and falls.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed.
