Job summary

Mason Street Grill in downtown Milwaukee is seeking a dependable Steward to keep dishwashing, kitchen cleanliness, and operations running smoothly. You will handle dish machines, organize wares, and support a fast-paced team in a hospitality setting.

Versatile individuals who adapt quickly, with prior hospitality or janitorial experience, are encouraged to apply. This is a full-time hourly role with generous benefits through Marcus Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

• Ability to tolerate varied working conditions.
• Must be able to change activities quickly.
• Availability to work between 3 p.m. and 12 a.m. start times vary between 3 and 4 p.m.
• Prior hospitality, cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dish machine to standards, efficiently processing dishes and utensils.
• Organize clean dishes, unload, stack, and store them in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in dish area and kitchen, including emptying garbage cans and performing general cleaning tasks.
• Ensure floor safety by sweeping, mopping, and drying, and transporting soiled ware to designated areas.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely, wipe down countertops, restock supplies, and assist with equipment movement.
• Set up equipment and bus stations for efficient service, anticipating event order needs and performing additional assigned duties.
