Mason Street Grill, part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, in downtown Milwaukee, seeks a hardworking Steward to maintain cleanliness and efficiency in our kitchen. Hours typically 3 p.m.–12 a.m. with start times around 3–4 p.m. This is an hourly, full-time role with a pay rate of $16.94 per hour. Benefits listed apply to eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Must be able to tolerate varied working conditions.
• Must be able to change activities quickly.
• Availability to work between 3 p.m. and 12 a.m. start times vary between 3 and 4 p.m.
• Prior hospitality, cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dish machine to standards, efficiently processing dishes and utensils.
• Organize clean dishes, unload, stack, and store them in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in dish area and kitchen, including emptying garbage cans and performing general cleaning tasks.
• Ensure floor safety by sweeping, mopping, and drying, and transporting soiled ware to designated areas.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely, wipe down countertops, restock supplies, and assist with equipment movement.
• Set up equipment and bus stations for efficient service, anticipating event order needs and performing additional assigned duties.
