Job summary

The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee is seeking a stewarding team member to support dishwashing and kitchen sanitation in a premier luxury setting. No prior experience is required; basic English is preferred.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with long shifts and flexible hours, contributing to a high standard of service. Responsibilities include operating dishwashing equipment, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with inventory, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• No prior experience required; basic English communication preferred.
• Must adhere to Local 122 Collective Bargaining Agreement regulations after 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment according to manufacturer and health standards; scrape, rinse, rack, and sanitize all dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Keep dish room, kitchen areas, floors, walls, and equipment clean and organized in compliance with health department and resort standards.
• Properly store dishes, utensils, and equipment; restock supplies and assist with inventory management to support efficient kitchen operations.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper chemical handling and hazard awareness; perform general cleaning across kitchen areas as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling throughout the kitchen and dish areas; maintain clean, safe, and orderly back-of-house spaces.
