Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. (JEI) is hiring a Kitchen Steward/Dishwasher for the J Resort in Reno. The role requires six months of dishwasher experience, basic reading and writing skills, and the ability to follow instructions. You’ll be part of a team supporting a busy kitchen, ensuring clean dishes and a safe back-of-house environment.

Qualifications

• Six months experience as a dishwasher.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Basic reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Gathers dirty dishes from tubs, rinses, and stacks in dishracks.
• Cleans floors, walls, and work areas; maintains cleanliness.
• Loads and operates the dishwashing machine and dispenses detergents.
• Defrosts refrigerators and maintains back-of-house areas.
• Stocks serving stations with dishes and utensils.
• Ensures health compliance and proper waste disposal.
