Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking a Steward - Dishwasher in Montgomery, TX to ensure the orderly flow of china, glassware, silver, and related equipment while maintaining cleanliness in accordance with local health regulations and hotel policies.

You will support all outlets and banquet areas by providing supplies and keeping the kitchen, pantry, and storage areas clean and sanitary. This role requires physical endurance and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or stewarding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety procedures in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities

• Washes and sanitizes dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, pantry, and storage areas.
• Ensures proper handling and storage of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Monitors the dishwashing machine for proper cleaning and sanitation.
• Assists in transporting food and equipment to banquet and dining areas as needed.
• Follows health department regulations and hotel standards for cleanliness and safety.
• Disposes of trash and recycling in accordance with local regulations.
• Restocks dishes, glassware, and silverware in the kitchen and service areas.
• Communicates with the culinary team to ensure timely delivery of kitchen equipment.
• Performs routine cleaning tasks such as mopping floors and wiping down surfaces.
• Assists with setting up and breaking down kitchen equipment for events.
