Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking a full-time Steward in Ocean City, MD to ensure the orderly flow of china, glassware, and silverware and to maintain cleanliness per local health regulations and hotel policies.

The role supports all outlets and banquet areas by providing supplies and keeping the kitchen, pantry, and storage areas clean and sanitary. Prior kitchen or stewarding experience is preferred; strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen stewarding or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures in kitchen environments.
• Ability to operate dishwashing equipment and related cleaning tools.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced setting and multitasking effectively.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, pantry, storage areas.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Monitor the dishwashing machine for proper cleaning and sanitation.
• Assist in transporting food and equipment to banquet and dining areas.
• Restock dishes, glassware, and silverware in kitchen and service areas.
• Follow health department regulations and hotel standards for cleanliness and safety.
