Job summary

Warm Springs Casino Enterprises is seeking a Kitchen Steward at Plateau Travel Plaza in Madras, OR. The role involves maintaining cleanliness of dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and floors, and assisting coworkers to deliver a pleasant guest experience.

Responsibilities include washing and shelving wares, sanitizing surfaces, and keeping the dish area organized; prior kitchen experience and Oregon Food Handler's Certificate are preferred.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience preferred.
• Able to communicate with Supervisors and staff.
• Oregon Food Handler's Certificate is required or accepted.

Responsibilities

• Washes and shelves dishes, glassware, pots and pans, and utensils.
• Maintains clean and organized dishwashing area and operates sanitation equipment.
• Cleans carts, warmers, and racks daily.
• Sanitizes walls, tables, sinks and other surfaces per schedule.
• Keeps handwashing stations stocked and clean.
• Cleans the Employee Dining Room per schedule.
• Operates and maintains sanitation equipment safely.
• Adheres to Health Code Standards and Policies.
