Responsibilities

• Sort soiled ware and run through dish/pot machine.
• Wash ware promptly and return to storage areas.
• Keep dish machine clean and filled with water.
• Detarnish/polish silver as needed.
• Clean kettles, skillets, pots and pans.
• Transport and clean utensils for staff use.
• Maintain clean and orderly kitchen areas and equipment.
• Sweep and mop floors and clean surfaces.
• Handle trash and disposal per guidelines.
• Report inventory of supplies and chemicals to supervisor.
• Follow safety guidelines for chemicals and storage.
• Report faulty equipment to supervisor.
• Assist kitchen staff as needed.
• Attend department trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
