Job summary

Omni Hotels is seeking a Steward/Dishwasher to uphold high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. You will sort, wash, and sanitize ware, assist with inventory, and help maintain orderly workspaces for cooks and servers.

The role requires a strong customer service orientation, ability to work on weekends/holidays, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds. Training on safety and sanitation will be provided to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled ware for dish machines and maintain cleanliness of the dish area.
• Polish silverware and keep cooking utensils organized for staff.
• Clean kettles, pots, pans, and ensure proper sanitation of kitchen equipment.
• Transport and restock utensils and service ware for cooks and servers.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and work surfaces.
• Report inventory and safety issues to supervisor; follow chemical safety guidelines.
• Assist kitchen staff and Stewarding Supervisor with inventories and trainings.
• Attend department meetings and complete mandatory trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
