Job summary

Salty's at the SEA in Seatac Airport is seeking a full-time Kitchen Shift Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure compliance with brand standards and airport requirements. You will lead opening/closing tasks and coordinate with front and back-of-house staff to maintain a smooth workflow.

The role requires 3+ years in restaurant/food service with leadership experience, plus ServSafe or alcohol awareness certification and experience with POS systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent in restaurant management/food service, with 3+ years in restaurant/food service and 1 year of leadership.
• Must obtain ServSafe Food Safety and/or alcohol awareness certification.
• Experience using restaurant management software and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company and brand standards and airport requirements.
• Supervise opening and closing operations and staff; delegate tasks effectively.
• Monitor food preparation, portion control, and timely dish delivery; coordinate with kitchen staff.
• Perform HACCP checks and ensure health regulations and rotation adherence.
• Foster teamwork, coach staff, and assist during staffing shortages.
