Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Kitchen Manager for DashMart Kitchens to lead daily operations within a DashMart fulfillment center. You will oversee a team of Kitchen Associates and Shift Leads, ensure food safety and quality, manage staffing and scheduling, and drive process improvements across multiple food concepts.

You will work closely with the Site Manager, cross-train in DMK and DashMart operations, and adapt to a fast-paced, startup-style environment while maintaining high standards for safety

Qualifications

• +3 years in a medium/high-volume fast-casual or full-service restaurant environment.
• +1 year of experience leading teams (hiring, scheduling, coaching, performance management).
• ServeSafe Manager certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Hands-on leader of 5+ employees with ownership mindset.
• Comfortable with fast-changing startup-style environment and data-driven decisions.
• Familiar with inventory systems and fulfillment best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a DoorDash-owned kitchen within a DashMart fulfillment center, ensuring safe, high-quality meals.
• Hire, coach and develop hourly Kitchen Associates and Shift Leads; foster safety-first culture.
• Schedule, manage par levels, ensure recipes are executed accurately and efficiently.
• Analyze performance metrics, identify root causes, and implement process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support new initiatives and site metrics.
