Job summary

GUAM SUPPORT SERVICES LLC is seeking a dedicated kitchen/food service worker to join our team in Tamuning. You will help prepare and portion meals, support cooks, and ensure food safety and quality throughout service hours.

Responsibilities include handling food items per menu, maintaining sanitation, and potentially making deliveries. A valid health certificate and a driver’s license may be required; Servsafe is preferred. One year of kitchen/F&B experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Valid Health Certificate is required.
• Servsafe Certification preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge and understanding on food handling, safety, and health guidelines.
• Driver’s license required for driver duties.
• Kitchen/F&B experience is highly preferred (1 Year).

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service while handling food and safety guidelines are followed.
• Serve and portion meals to customers meeting quality standards.
• Assist cooks to ensure food quality is safe and up to standard.
• Ensure sufficient amount of food to be portioned and served during operation hours.
• Assist cooks on food items and proper usage and storage with minimal waste.
• Prepare meat, poultry, seafood, vegetables, fruits and other items as per menu.
• Monitor and ensure kitchen tools and equipment are clean, sanitized and working.
• Clean, sanitize and organize service areas before, during and after usage.
• May safely operate a vehicle to make food deliveries as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager.
