Job summary

Triple J in Tamuning, GU is seeking a kitchen associate to provide quality service and meal preparation while upholding food handling and safety guidelines. You will support cooks, portion meals, and ensure equipment cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, food safety knowledge, and the ability to work as part of a team. Driver’s license may be needed for deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid Health Certificate, REQUIRED.
• Servsafe Certification preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of food handling, safety, and health guidelines.
• Ability to operate kitchen tools and equipment properly.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and comply with supervisors.
• Driver’s license required for driver duties.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Kitchen/F&B experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service while food handling and safety is followed.
• Serve and portion meals to customers meeting quality standards.
• Assist cooks to ensure food quality is safe and up to standard.
• Ensure sufficient food quantity for operation hours.
• Assist cooks on food items and proper usage/storage with minimal waste.
• Prepare meat, poultry, seafood, vegetables, fruits per the menu.
• Monitor and ensure kitchen tools/equipment are clean, sanitized, working.
• Clean, sanitize and organize service area, dining area, storage and equipment.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety at all times.
• May safely operate a vehicle to make food deliveries as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager.
