Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Utility Worker at EMORY & HENRY COLLEGE to support kitchen and facility operations. You will help maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization across food production and service areas, washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and assisting with setup and break-down tasks as directed.

The role requires basic sanitation knowledge, a High School diploma or equivalent, and the ability to walk and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic concepts of food safety.
• No related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors.
• Remove trash to designated areas.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Assist with basic set-up and break-down tasks.
• Adhere to sanitary standards and safety procedures.
