Job summary

Sodexo at Indiana State University is seeking a Utility Worker to support kitchen and facility operations. You will clean and sanitize work areas, maintain equipment, restock supplies, and assist with set-up and break-down tasks as directed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic concepts of food safety.
• No related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors and remove trash.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Assist with basic set-up and break-down tasks as directed.
• Move and/or lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
