Job summary

Sodexo at Carroll College is seeking a Utility Worker to support kitchen and facility operations through cleaning, sanitation, and organization in food production and service areas. Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, floors, and storage spaces, transporting supplies, and assisting with setup and breakdown tasks as directed.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and knowledge of sanitation procedures; no prior related work experience is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or in a dishwasher.
• Clean and sanitize work surfaces, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; remove trash to designated areas.
• Transport and store supplies; assist with setup and breakdown tasks as directed.
