Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Utility Worker at Morehouse College to support kitchen and facility operations. You will help maintain cleanliness and organization in food production and service areas, including handling dishes, surfaces, and supplies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.
• No related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors.
• Remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Clean equipment using specified chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.
• Restock supplies such as soap and paper towels.
• Significant walking or other mobility.
• Walk or stand for extended periods, potentially >8 hours.
• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attend shifts on time and perform assigned duties.
