Avion Hospitality is seeking a Steward to maintain cleanliness and proper storage of china, glass and silver, while supporting kitchen staff in sanitation and organization. The role includes cleaning equipment and spaces, ensuring proper food storage and rotation, and contributing to a clean, efficient back-of-house environment.

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations.
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Operate the dish-washing equipment to ensure that all china, glass and silver are cleaned thoroughly and sanitation of such is maintained.
• Replace all clean china; glass and silver in its proper storage location using care to minimize breakage.
• Wash pots, pans and kitchen utensils following proper procedure for their cleanliness and sanitation, storing them in the proper location.
• Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and restaurant.
• Empty garbage from Food and Beverage areas into the hotel dumpster. Maintain the cleanliness of the back dock and dumpster area.
• Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
